Asake explains why he enjoys using Yoruba in his lyrics

Popular Afropop star Asake discusses why Yoruba is such an integral part of his music and why he sings mostly in Yoruba.

In a recent interview with NewsLive Prime, the “Terminator” singer revealed that the Yoruba language is very important to him.

He said many people can understand the language when they hear his songs.

Asake believes music goes beyond lyrics, and he added that the emotions it evokes are important to him.
