No Ghanaian musician, according to Ghanaian dancehall singer Shatta Wale, is as well-known as Nigerian singer Asake.
This statement was made by Shatta Wale on Wednesday while taking part in a Twitter discussion facilitated by Serwaa Amihere, a media figure from Ghana.
No Ghanaian artist has even achieved as much success as Asake, according to Shatta Wale. neither do I.
But you claimed to be the wealthiest Ghanaian performer, yet you haven’t even reached Asake’s level, the host implied.
“Why would I have to reach Asake’s level [before I would be the richest artist in Ghana]?” Shatta Wale retorted. Unknown to us, there is a Spanish musician earning money in either Spain or the Dominican Republic.
