David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, recently got into a brief argument with a Twitter user after the latter questioned whether he intended to sell out a stadium like his colleague Wizkid had.
During Wizkid’s sold-out performance at the 60,000-seat Tottenham Hotspur stadium in the United Kingdom, the exchange took place.
On the microblogging site Twitter, a user chose to make fun of Davido by speculating as to when he will be able to achieve a comparable feat.
He wrote:
“Over to you David, stadium when @davido?”
As a result, Davido kept his composure and went the moral route. He assured the troll that the achievement he was doubting would happen sooner than expected in his optimistic response to the troll.

Even going so far as to express his sincere wish for the critic’s wellbeing and wish that he would live long enough to see the momentous occasion, Davido went above and beyond.
“I pray to God ur alive and healthy by then to witness … it won’t be long ❤️⏳,” the singer wrote
It’s important to note that Wizkid’s achievement in selling out the Tottenham Hotspur stadium was a significant turning point for African music as a whole, demonstrating the genre’s talent and influence on the world stage.
