Wizkid, a.k.a. Ibrahim Ayodeji Balogun, the most celebrated musician from Africa, boasted in a video that he detests music promotion.
On Twitter, a video from 2021 that featured the legendary Nigerian musician Wizkid boasting about not promoting his music because he despises promo has surfaced.
Wizkid claimed in the video that he doesn’t care about promotion because he knows exactly what the public wants and is just interested in making good music.
He said, ‘You see promo, I hate doing that shit bro. So like I knew exactly what people want’.
He also described how he composed some of his biggest songs, including “Holla At Your Boy,” “Soco,” and “Joro,” while relaxing in the studio.
