Cristiano Rolando, a young Portuguese football star, has been revealed to be a “very good friend” of Nigerian singer David Adeleke, also known as Davido.
He revealed this while a guest on the most recent episode of Anas Bukhash’s podcast ABTalks.
After Portugal was eliminated from the tournament, Davido, who made history by becoming the first Nigerian artist to perform at the FIFA World Cup final in Qatar, chastised those who had made fun of Ronaldo.
Look at [Cristiano] Ronaldo after the World Cup, he said. By the way, he’s a friend of mine. He is a close friend of mine.
“I remember being on the internet when he [Ronaldo] left the World Cup, and they [trolls] were abusing him so much, even after everything that he has done.”

In 2017, Davido paid tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo in his hit song ‘Fall.’
Davido is the only African artiste that Ronaldo follows on Instagram.
