In a recent update, D’Banj said he would give the woman N2 million as promised.
Daniel Oyebanjo, better known by his stage name D’Banj, is a popular Nigerian singer who recently gave a trader N2 million.
Everything started when D’Banj stumbled upon a popular video of a woman discussing her plans if she were to win a $1 lottery.
A content creator asked the vendors in a market in the South West what they would do with $1, which is equal to N778.
It’s interesting to note that the majority of them listed extravagant things they would buy with $1 even though they didn’t understand its true value.

One woman’s response, though, caught D’Banj’s attention. She said she would use the cash to finish her building project, support her kids, and grow her business.
The “Koko Master,” deeply moved by her response, made the decision to intervene and promised to give the woman N1 million to aid in her financial plans.

Recent developments show that D’Banj has kept his word and given the woman N1 million for her business as well as an additional N1 million for her children.
A video posted online captures the poignant moment the woman and her son went to the singer’s house to pick up the cash gift.
