Contrary to popular belief, Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, also known by his stage name Rema, has stated that he needs money.
In response to a fan who asked for his account number for a giveaway, the “Calm Down” singer posted the announcement on his Twitter page on Saturday.
When Rema first asked his followers how they were doing, one person who goes by the handle @ommies_official replied, “We’re okay ooo but e be like say we need money make we drop AZA.”
Rema responded to his request by stating that he is attending music concerts because he also needs money.
“Brother all of us need money, if I no need money I for no dey go show” Rema wrote in a tweet.
