According to The talented artiste, he enjoyed entertaining, communicating and connecting with people right from childhood and only began to nurture his musical talent during his high school days. Tu Flowz had always aspired to be on TV because he was effortlessly at the spotlight from his childhood days, his mom was his first ever listener and her encouragement made a long way in giving him confidence as a singer.
When he was a kid, singing and entertaining his mom was a thing that brought him immeasurable joy and he always felt that joy without even thinking for a second that he’d grow up to become an artiste.
Early Life
Tu Flowz grew up with his late grandad, grand mother, uncles and aunts being his guardians at different points in life and spent most of his early days particularly in the northern part of Nigeria. In 2018, Obitiye Jonathan graduated from Federal science and technical college, Otukpo.
The rapper fully started using music as an medium to express himself at about 13 – 14 years of age, when his senior who was also a rapper who went by the name X-lord during high school days will call Tu Flowz to rewrite his songs because the singer had a clear handwriting.
Tu flowz listens to numerous prolific artists, the likes of: Olamide, Ycee, DMX, MI, Dremo, Erigga, Rihanna, T.I, 50 Cent, Eminem, Ludacris, Sean Paul, J.cole and many others and his music has been influenced in different ways by each of this creative artistes. The rapper started off doing freestyles back in high school and he was known for being very good at it in school, one thing worthy of mention is his catchy voice and comic/storytelling rap style which leaves every one who listens to him wanting more. He performed at several events while in secondary school and he would normally sneak out of the school to make it to the stage with the microphone entertaining any and every one who graced the event.
The talented singer upon graduation from high school, went ahead to secure admission at the Federal University of Jos, Jos, Plateau , Nigeria, where he studied Electronics & Electronical Engineering.
