The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a 45-year-old man, Ojo Akelele, in Idoani city, Océ state city, on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl.
This was announced by state police PR officer Funmi Odunlami during an interview with journalists in the state capital Acre on Tuesday.
She said: “A case was reported against 45-year-old Ojo Akerele, after which he was arrested by security forces.” The suspect allegedly lured a 10-year-old girl into an uncompleted building, after giving her N100, he had carnal knowledge of her.
“The suspect said the girl usually came with her friends to collect her N100 every day, and while she demanded money, he pulled her over and had carnal knowledge of her.”
