Following up the deletion of the tweet made via the Twitter handle of President Muhammadu Buhari, The Federal Government of Nigeria has suspended popular social networking platform ‘Twitter’ from operating in Nigeria.
This announcement was made to the general public via the official Twitter handle of the Federal Ministry of Information and culture headed by The Minister of information and culture Lai Mohammed.
The minister in a video also said that the mission of twitter in Nigeria is suspicious lamenting as to why Twitter would delete the President’s genocidal tweet yet allow the tweets being sent by Biafran Political activist ‘Nnamdi Kanu’ who is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) whose aim is to create an independent state for the people of old Eastern Region of Nigeria through an independent referendum.
