Dr. Ahmed Idris Nasreddin, an Eritrean industrialist and businessman who in 1963 founded Nigerian conglomerate group NASCO (Nasco Cornflakes, Biscuits, Sugar, Brytex Detergent, Plus soap & Beauty handwash) died in Tome, Italy yesterday at the age of 97.
Nasreddin was a great believer in the Nigerian Enterprise who chose to invest in Jos and build a household name all over the country.
NASCO has over the years remained a major employer of labour in Plateau state and continues to contribute to the economic prosperity of the State and Nigeria at large through tax revenue and corporate social responsibility.
Alot of Nigerians have come out to wish him a peaceful rest and some have gone ahead to tell hiw simple and humble Nasreddin was.

President Muhammadu Buhari, The Governor of Plateau state, Simon Bako Lalong and a host of other government officials and Public figures have also mourned with the family of the deceased and the entire NASCO company while wishing the Icon a peaceful rest.
