Burna Boy to perform at the UCL finals in June
The largest football governing body in Europe, UEFA have disclosed that Burna Boy will be performing at the UEFA champions league final at Istanbul on 10th June, 2023.
This was made known via a post across all UEFA champions league platform also called UCL on social media.
The self aclaimed ‘African giant’ Burna Boy also confirmed this news on his Twitter handle via a tweet which read “Catch Me Performing Live at The UEFA Champions League Final in June! @UEFA @ChampionsLeague 10/06/2023 #LoveDamini 🦍 ”
Burna Boy is well renowned globally for his craft. A music genre he often refers to as afro fussion. This has paved waved for him in the music industry up to the global stage.

His album “African giant” was the hit that brought him to limelight and global recognition when it was nominated as the global music album of the year at the 2020 Grammys. Though he lost the category to Angelique Kidjo’s Celia album, 2020 was still however a great year for Burna.
At the 63rd Grammy awards, Burna Boy made a dramatic come back to clinch the best global music album category for 2021 with his sensational hit album titled “twice as tall”. This was no doubt a well deserved victory and also a giant step forward for the African giant.
Burna Boy has since being instrumental in pushing afro music to the world, even though he is mostly known for chipping in his native African Yoruba dialect, his music is still loved around the world.
His most recent album “love, damini” has had tracks on the lips of many music lovers all round the world, a common of them is “last last”. 10th June, 2023 shouldn’t be a boring night in Istanbul at all.
The teams that will be playing under this familiar tensed and terrific atmosphere of champions league final nights are yet to be decided. They canbe any of the last eight left in the competition, which are: Real Madrid, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Chelsea, Napoli, Benfica, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
