Nigerian singer and rapper Jon Njeng-Njeng, commonly known as Skales, describes how his colleague Olamide helped him when he went bankrupt financially after leaving EME (Empire Mates Entertainment).
In a recent chat with the media personality, ‘Shake Body’ crooner opened up about how he was homeless and broke after his former record label EME refused to renew his contract.
He said his life changed forever after YBNL boss Olamide called him on the phone and told him he liked one of the songs titled “Shake Body.”
Skales asked if the indigenous rapper would shoot a video for the song, but he said he was broke and homeless.
He then said that Olamide sent him money to shoot the video, and the song was a commercial success. He said;

“The deal was done with them, but they refused to go ahead because I was unwell at the time. Olamide contacted me and said he liked one of my songs, Shake Body, and asked me if I wanted to do a video. He sent me money. God changed my life after this video shoot.”
