Benue state Governor, His excellency Governor Samuel Ortom has blown hot on the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, Governor Ortom said; “To hell with Atiku and any other fulani man, I can never be slave to the fulani who are killing Benue people”.

In February 2022, Governor Ortom was visited by Atiku Abubakar, who donated the sum of fifty million naira to support the internally displaced persons in Benue state.
