I’m Ukula Albert and am a student and Blogger. In this post, I’ll share with you a story of one of the mistakes I’ve made and i really wish i didn’t.
Mistakes are a very common thing in our day to day lives, just as the saying goes “To err is human…” but there are definitely some mistakes we make which we tend to regret over time and wish we could correct.
So this happened some years ago when i first started dating, There was this girl i met at a camp and asked out the next day, for me i thought she’d not accept to date me just like every other girl I had asked out prior to that time but i got it all wrong.
So i started dating when my mind wasn’t matured enough for it, I’ll not call it peer pressure that made me ask girls out but to an extent it was. To cut the long story short, she really loved me and i never could see it, she always used to call to check on me, send me airtime sometimes and even pay my bus fare to come over to her house just so she’d see me and all that.
We continued to keep in touch even after the one week camp and I’d visit her once in a while, Everything was going pretty nice yet i went on to ask another girl out, when she discovered this, she was so heart broken💔…It never occurred to me what i did at that moment, but later on when i realized i broke a heart which truly loved me i really felt bad and wished i could go back and correct it all.
In summary, Loving/Dating is something almost everyone experiences and i feel one shouldn’t be in a rush to go into relationships, I’ve learnt that you must have to ask yourself why you want to go into a relationship and make sure you’re ready mentally and emotionally to do so and I’d not advice dating for teenagers as it may be of more harm than good to thier young minds.
